Adhyāya 40: Brahmā on Mahān (The Great Principle) and the All-Pervading Puruṣa
इस प्रकार श्रीमह्याभारत आश्वमेधिकपर्वके अन्तर्गत अनुगीतापर्वमें गुरु-शिष्य- संवादविषयक उनतालीसवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
iti prakāraṃ śrī-mahābhārate āśvamedhika-parvaṇi antargate anugītā-parvaṇi guru-śiṣya-saṃvāda-viṣayakaḥ ūnatāliśattamo 'dhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ
Demikian berakhir bab ketiga puluh sembilan, mengenai dialog antara guru dan murid, dalam bahagian Anugītā di bawah Aśvamedhika Parva daripada Mahābhārata yang mulia. Kolofon penutup ini menandakan selesainya suatu wacana didaktik yang bertujuan meneguhkan tata susila dan kefahaman berdisiplin selepas gelora peperangan.
वायुदेव उवाच
