Transliteration

brahmovāca | rajo’ham vaḥ pravakṣyāmi yāthātathyena sattamāḥ | nibodhata mahābhāgā guṇavṛttaṃ ca rājasam ||

Translation

Brahmā berkata: “Wahai para resi yang terbaik dalam kebajikan, kini akan aku jelaskan kepada kamu, menurut kenyataan, hakikat rajas dan sifat-sifat yang lahir daripadanya. Dengarlah dengan penuh perhatian, wahai yang amat beruntung, akan perilaku dan gerak kerja yang menjadi milik watak rājasa.”
