प्रकृत्यात्मकमेवाहू रज: पर्यायकारकम् । प्रवृत्तं सर्वभूतेषु दृश्यमुत्पत्तिलक्षणम्
prakṛtyātmakam evāhu rajaḥ paryāyakārakam | pravṛttaṃ sarvabhūteṣu dṛśyam utpattilakṣaṇam ||
Vāyu bersabda: “Rajas dinyatakan sebagai bersifat Prakṛti itu sendiri, berfungsi sebagai prinsip perubahan. Ia beroperasi dalam semua makhluk dan terlihat di mana-mana; dunia yang nyata memikul tandanya—tanda utamanya ialah kemunculan dan kegiatan yang tidak putus-putus.”
