न२््च्स््््तसाि्य्सि हु £:-/शप्ट (नारदागमनपर्व) सप्तत्रिशो<ध्याय: नारदजीसे धृतराष्ट्र आदिके दावानलमें दग्ध हो जानेका हाल जानकर युधिष्ठिर आदिका शोक करना वैशम्पायन उवाच द्विवर्षोपनिवृत्तेषु पाण्डवेषु यदृच्छया । देवर्षिनरिदो राजन्नाजगाम युधिष्ठिरम्‌,वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--जनमेजय! पाण्डवोंको तपोवनसे आये जब दो वर्ष व्यतीत हो गये, तब एक दिन देवर्षि नारद दैवेच्छासे घूमते-घामते राजा युधिष्ठिरके यहाँ आ पहुँचे

Vaiśampāyana uvāca: Dvivarṣopanivṛtteṣu pāṇḍaveṣu yadṛcchayā | Devarṣir Nārado rājan ājagāma Yudhiṣṭhiram ||

Vaiśampāyana berkata: “Wahai Raja (Janamejaya), apabila genap dua tahun sejak para Pāṇḍava kembali (daripada kehidupan āśrama di rimba), pada suatu hari resi dewa Nārada, yang mengembara menurut kehendak takdir, telah tiba di hadapan Raja Yudhiṣṭhira.”
