Kemudian Raja Janamejaya melihat ayahandanya yang mulia—Raja Parīkṣit—yang datang dari syurga dalam rupa dan usia yang sama.
जनमेजय उवाच
The verse highlights filial reverence and the idea that righteous standing (dharma) preserves one’s honor beyond death; the father appears in a dignified, radiant state from heaven, reinforcing faith in moral consequence (karma-phala) and the sanctity of lineage.
Janamejaya narrates that he sees his father, King Parikshit, arriving from heaven in the same form and age, shining with splendor; it is a moment of recognition and affirmation of Parikshit’s exalted posthumous state.
