न मन्युहदि न: कश्चित् सुयोधनकृतेडनघ । भवितव्यं तथा तद्धि वयं चान्ये च मोहिता:,निष्पाप नरेश! दुर्योधनने जो कुछ किया है, उसके लिये हमारे हृदयमें तनिक भी क्रोध नहीं है। जो कुछ हुआ है, वैसी ही होनहार थी। हम और दूसरे लोग उसीसे मोहित थे
na manyuḥ hṛdi naḥ kaścit suyodhana-kṛte 'n-agha | bhavitavyaṃ tathā tad dhi vayaṃ cānye ca mohitāḥ ||
Yudhiṣṭhira berkata: “Wahai yang tidak berdosa, di dalam hati kami tidak ada sedikit pun kemarahan atas apa yang dilakukan Su-yodhana (Duryodhana). Apa yang berlaku memang telah ditakdirkan berlaku demikian; kami dan orang lain juga telah diperdaya oleh kuasa takdir dan keadaan itu.”
