इति श्रीमहाभारते आश्रमवासिके पर्वणि आश्रमवासपर्वणि युधिष्ठिरादिधृतराष्ट्रसमागमे चतुर्विशो5ध्याय:

Transliteration

iti śrīmahābhārate āśramavāsike parvaṇi āśramavāsaparvaṇi yudhiṣṭhirādi-dhṛtarāṣṭra-samāgame caturviṃśo 'dhyāyaḥ

Translation

Demikianlah, dalam Śrī Mahābhārata, di dalam Āśramavāsika Parva—khususnya bahagian tentang tinggal di pertapaan rimba—berakhirlah bab kedua puluh empat, mengenai pertemuan Yudhiṣṭhira dan yang lain-lain dengan Dhṛtarāṣṭra. Kolofon penutup ini membingkai kisah sebagai peralihan daripada kehidupan istana kepada persaraan tapa, menonjolkan perdamaian, pengendalian diri, serta beratnya tuntutan dharma kekeluargaan selepas perang.
