Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa

Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results

वेदाक्ष॒ सोपनिषदो विद्या सावित्र्यथापि च । भूतं भव्यं भविष्यं च दधार भगवान्‌ शिव:,वेद, उपनिषद्‌, विद्या और सावित्री देवी भी वहाँ आयी थीं। भगवान्‌ शिवने भूत, वर्तमान और भविष्य--तीनों कालोंको धारण किया था

vedākṣa sopaniṣado vidyā sāvitrī athāpi ca | bhūtaṁ bhavyaṁ bhaviṣyaṁ ca dadhāra bhagavān śivaḥ ||

Vasiṣṭha berkata: “Veda-veda, bersama Upaniṣad-Upaniṣadnya, dan ilmu suci—beserta Sāvitrī juga—hadir di sana. Dan Tuhan Yang Mulia, Śiva, menanggung dalam dirinya arus waktu yang tiga: yang telah berlalu, yang sedang ada, dan yang akan datang.”
