Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa

Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results

इत्युक्त: स तथेत्युक्त्वा भगवान्‌ हव्यवाहन: । जगामाथ दुराधर्षो गड़ां भागीरथीं प्रति,देवताओंके ऐसा कहनेपर “तथास्तु” कहकर दुर्धर्ष भगवान्‌ हव्यवाहन भागीरथी गंगाके तटपर गये

ity uktaḥ sa tathety uktvā bhagavān havyavāhanaḥ | jagāmātha durādharṣo gaṅgāṃ bhāgīrathīṃ prati ||

Bhishma berkata: Setelah para dewa berkata demikian, Havyavāhana—Api Ilahi yang tiada tertahan—menjawab, “Demikianlah.” Lalu baginda pun berangkat menuju ke Bhāgīrathī Gaṅgā.
