Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
एषा सुवर्णस्योत्पत्ति: कथिता ते मयानघ । कार्तिकेयस्य च विभो तद् विद्धि भूगुनन्दन,प्रभो! निष्पाप भृगुनन्दन! यह मैंने तुम्हें सुवर्ण और कार्तिकेयकी उत्पत्ति बतायी है। इसे अच्छी तरह समझ लो
eṣā suvarṇasyotpattiḥ kathitā te mayānagha | kārtikeyasya ca vibho tad viddhi bhṛgunandana ||
Vasiṣṭha berkata: “Wahai yang tidak berdosa, telah aku jelaskan kepadamu asal-usul emas, dan juga asal-usul Kārttikeya yang perkasa. Wahai kebanggaan keturunan Bhṛgu, pahamilah ini dengan sungguh-sungguh.”
