Chapter 85: Suvarṇasya Janma ca Pradāna-Phalam

गाव ऊचु: नावमन्यामहे देवि न त्वां परिभवामहे । अध्रुवा चलचित्तासि ततत्त्वां वर्जयामहे,गौओंने कहा--देवि! हम तुम्हारा अपमान या अनादर नहीं करतीं। केवल तुम्हारा त्याग कर रही हैं। वह भी इसलिये कि तुम्हारा चित्त चंचल है। तुम कहीं भी स्थिर होकर नहीं रहती
gāva ūcuḥ—nāvamanyāmahe devi na tvāṃ paribhavāmahe | adhruvā calacittāsi tat tvāṃ varjayāmahe ||
Lembu-lembu itu berkata: “Wahai Dewi, kami tidak memandang rendahmu, dan kami tidak berniat menghina. Namun kami meninggalkanmu, kerana engkau tidak tetap dan hatimu mudah berubah; engkau tidak tinggal teguh di mana-mana.”
