कंचित् काल तु वलह्लि च स एव शमयिष्यति । समुद्रे वडवावक्त्रे प्रक्षिप्प मुनिसत्तम:,कुछ कालके बाद मुनिश्रेष्ठ और्व ही उस अग्निको समुद्रमें स्थित हुई बड़वानलमें डालकर बुझा देंगे
kañcit kālaṁ tu vaḍavāgnau ca sa eva śamayiṣyati | samudre vaḍavā-vaktre prakṣipya munisattamaḥ ||
Setelah beberapa waktu, pertapa agung itu sendiri—Ūrva—akan menenangkan api tersebut dengan mencampakkannya ke dalam api bawah laut bermuka kuda (Vaḍavānala) di lautan.
व्यववन उवाच
Even immense, destructive power born of tapas or anger must be governed by dharma; the wise ultimately restrain and relocate such force so it does not consume the world.
The foremost sage (Aurva, in context) resolves that, after some time, he will extinguish or settle the blazing fire by casting it into the ocean’s vaḍavāgni (the mare-faced submarine fire), thereby neutralizing its threat to the world.
