Adhyāya 59: On Giving to the Asker and Supporting the Non-asking (याचक-अयाचक-दाने धर्मः)

भविता त्वं च सम्बन्धी भूगूणां भावितात्मनाम्‌ | तुमसे तीसरी पीढ़ीमें तुम्हें ब्राह्मणत्व प्राप्त हो जायगा और तुम शुद्ध अन्तः:करणवाले भगुवंशियोंके सम्बन्धी होओगे

bhavitā tvaṃ ca sambandhī bhṛgūṇāṃ bhāvitātmanām |

Engkau akan menjadi kerabat kepada kaum Bhṛgu—mereka yang batinnya suci dan terdidik. Pada waktunya (meski merentasi beberapa generasi), pada generasi ketiga daripadamu engkau akan mencapai kedudukan brāhmaṇa, dan keturunanmu akan terjalin hubungan dengan garis Bhṛgu yang tanpa cela itu.
