ततः प्रविश्य नगर कृत्वा पौर्वाह्निकी: क्रिया: । भुक्त्वा सभारयों रजनीमुवास स महाद्युति:,नगरमें प्रवेश करके उन्होंने पूर्वाह्लकालकी सम्पूर्ण क्रियाएँ सम्पन्न कीं। फिर पत्नीसहित भोजन करके उन महातेजस्वी नरेशने रातको महलमें निवास किया

Transliteration

tataḥ praviśya nagaraṁ kṛtvā paurvāhṇikīḥ kriyāḥ | bhuktvā sabhāryo rajanīm uvāsa sa mahādyutiḥ ||

Translation

Bhishma berkata: Kemudian, setelah memasuki kota, baginda melaksanakan segala upacara pagi yang ditetapkan menurut adat dan dharma. Sesudah menjamah santapan bersama permaisurinya, raja yang bercahaya itu bermalam di istana—menjalani tata tertib dan kesopanan dalam aturan hidup sehari-hari.
