Cyavana–Kuśika Dialogue on Lineage, Conflict, and Transmission
श्रमो मम यथा न स्यात् तथा मच्छन्दचारिणौ । सुसुखं चैव वोढव्यो जन: सर्वश्ष॒ पश्यतु,राजाके ऐसा पूछनेपर भगवान् च्यवन मुनिने उनसे कहा--“यहाँसे तुम बहुत धीरे-धीरे एक-एक कदम उठाकर चलो। यह ध्यान रखो कि मुझे कष्ट न होने पाये। तुम दोनोंको मेरी मर्जीके अनुसार चलना होगा। तुमलोग इस प्रकार इस रथको ले चलो जिससे मुझे अधिक आराम मिले और सब लोग देखें
śramo mama yathā na syāt tathā macchandacāriṇau | susukhaṃ caiva voḍhavyo janaḥ sarvaśaḥ paśyatu ||
Bhishma berkata: “Bergeraklah supaya aku tidak letih; kamu berdua hendaklah menurut kehendakku. Bawalah aku dengan senyaman-nyamannya, dan biarlah orang ramai di mana-mana menyaksikannya.”
