Cyavana’s Yogic Display and Kuśika’s Recognition of Tapas (च्यवन-योगप्रभावः कुशिकस्य तपःप्रशंसा च)

च्यवन उवाच राजन्‌ नाहंम्यहं कोटिं भूयो वापि महाद्युते । सदृशं दीयतां मूल्यं ब्राह्मणैः सह चिन्तय

cyavana uvāca rājann nāhamya-haṁ koṭiṁ bhūyo vāpi mahādyute | sadṛśaṁ dīyatāṁ mūlyaṁ brāhmaṇaiḥ saha cintaya ||

Cyavana berkata: “Wahai Raja, wahai yang bersinar perkasa, aku bukanlah sesuatu yang boleh dijual dengan satu koṭi—atau lebih daripadanya. Berikanlah balasan yang sepadan, dan bermusyawarahlah tentangnya bersama para Brahmana.”
