Varṇasaṃkara: Causes, Classifications, and Conduct-based Recognition (वर्णसंकरः—हेतु-जाति-आचारनिर्णयः)
असूयवस्त्वधर्मिष्ठा: परस्वादायिन: शठा: । आसुरादधिसम्भूता धर्माद् विषमवृत्तय:
asūyavas tv adharmiṣṭhāḥ parasvādāyinaḥ śaṭhāḥ | āsurād adhisambhūtā dharmād viṣamavṛttayaḥ ||
Bhīṣma berkata: “Mereka yang lahir daripada bentuk perkahwinan āsura cenderung menjadi pencari-cari salah, sangat tidak berpegang pada dharma, merampas harta orang lain, licik, dan condong kepada tingkah laku yang bertentangan dengan dharma.”
