Vivāha-dharma: Kanyā-pradāna, Śulka, and Pāṇigrahaṇa-niṣṭhā (अनुशासन पर्व, अध्याय ४४)

अभिवाद्य च शान्तात्मा स गुरुं गुरुवत्सल: । विपुल: पर्युपातिष्ठद्‌ यथापूर्वमशड्कित:,शान्त चित्तवाले गुरुप्रेमी विपुल गुरुदेवको प्रणाम करके पहलेकी ही भाँति निर्भीक होकर उनकी सेवामें उपस्थित हुए

abhivādya ca śāntātmā sa guruṁ guruvatsalaḥ | vipulaḥ paryupātiṣṭhad yathāpūrvam aśaṅkitaḥ ||

Setelah memberi salam hormat, Vipula—tenang jiwanya dan penuh kasih setia kepada gurunya—berdiri melayani di sisi. Seperti dahulu, dia menyambung khidmatnya tanpa takut atau ragu, melambangkan kerendahan hati yang berdisiplin dan kesetiaan teguh kepada guru.
