Devaśarmā–Vipula Dialogue on Ahorātra–Ṛtu as Moral Witnesses (अनुशासन पर्व, अध्याय ४३)

आहृय दयितं शिष्यं विपुलं प्राह भार्गवम्‌ । फिर उन महा तपस्वीने मन-ही-मन उसकी रक्षाका उपाय सोचकर अपने प्रिय शिष्य भगुवंशी विपुलको बुलाकर कहा--

āhṛya dayitaṃ śiṣyaṃ vipulaṃ prāha bhārgavam |

Bhishma berkata: Setelah memanggil murid kesayangannya, Vipula, sang Bhārgava pun menegurnya. Pertapa agung itu, setelah merenung dalam hati tentang cara melindungi perkara yang dipertaruhkan, memanggil pelajarnya yang dikasihi lalu berkata—memulakan suatu langkah berjaga-jaga yang dipandu dharma, bukan tindakan terburu-buru.
