Chapter 34
अस्मिल्लोंके सदा होते परत्र च सुखप्रदा: । चरन्ते मान्यमाना वै प्रदास्यन्ति सुखं तव
asmilloke sad01 hote paratra ca sukhaprad01 | carante m01nyam01n01 vai prad01syanti sukha tava ||
Nārada berkata: “Di dunia ini dan juga di alam sana, ada insan yang sentiasa bergerak sebagai pemberi kebahagiaan. Apabila mereka dihormati dan dilayani dengan sewajarnya, mereka pasti akan mengurniakan kebahagiaan kepadamu juga.”
नारद उवाच
Happiness and welfare arise from honoring those who are themselves sources of welfare; respect shown to the virtuous returns as benefit in both this life and the next.
Narada is instructing his listener on ethical conduct, emphasizing that people who habitually confer good upon others will, when duly honored, reciprocate with blessings and happiness.
