Chapter 34

ये वै तपसि वर्तन्ते वने मूलफलाशना: । असंचया: क्रियावन्तस्तान्‌ नमस्यामि यादव

ye vai tapasi vartante vane mūlaphalāśanāḥ | asaṃcayāḥ kriyāvantas tān namasyāmi yādava ||

Nārada berkata: “Aku menunduk hormat kepada mereka yang teguh dalam tapa—berdiam di rimba, hidup dengan akar dan buah, tidak menyimpan bekalan untuk hari mendatang, dan tetap kukuh dalam disiplin yang ditetapkan. Wahai Yādava, para pertapa yang mengekang diri itu melambangkan hidup yang berpegang pada dharma serta kekuatan batin.”
