अहिंसयित्वा ब्रह्महत्याविधानम् / Brahmahatyā incurred without physical violence
ये तु धर्म प्रशंसन्तश्नरन्ति पृथिवीमिमाम् | अनाचरन्तस्तद् धर्म संकरेडभिरता: प्रभो,प्रभो! जो लोग इस पृथ्वीपर धर्मकी प्रशंसा करते हुए घूमते-फिरते हैं; परंतु स्वयं उस धर्मका आचरण नहीं करते, वे ढोंगी हैं और धर्मसंकरता फैलानेमें लगे हैं
bhīṣma uvāca | ye tu dharmaṁ praśaṁsantaś caranti pṛthivīm imām | anācarantas tad dharmaṁ saṅkareḍbhir atāḥ prabho ||
Bhishma berkata: “Wahai tuanku, mereka yang merayau di bumi ini sambil memuji-muji dharma, namun tidak mengamalkan dharma itu sendiri, adalah orang munafik; mereka tenggelam dalam menimbulkan kekeliruan dan kerosakan atas nama kebenaran.”
