Educational Q&A

The verse highlights gṛhastha-dharma: ethical steadiness in the householder stage, where one sustains life through disciplined domestic duties and shared responsibility with one’s spouse.

Bhīṣma tells the king that Sudarśana, together with Oghavatī, settled in Kurukṣetra and actively lived according to the obligations of the householder way of life.
