एवं स राजशार्दूल नृप: शान्तनवस्तदा

evaṁ sa rājaśārdūla nṛpaḥ śāntanavas tadā

Vaiśampāyana berkata: “Demikianlah, wahai harimau di antara raja-raja, pada waktu itu penguasa dari keturunan Śāntanu bertindak (atau bertutur) sebagaimana adanya.”
