Anuśāsana-parva 17

कैलासगिरिवासी च हिमवदूगिरिसंश्रय: । कूलहारी कूलकर्ता बहुविद्यो बहुप्रद:

kailāsagirivāsī ca himavadgiri-saṁśrayaḥ | kūlahārī kūlakartā bahuvidyo bahupradaḥ ||

Vāyu-deva bersabda: “Dia bersemayam di Gunung Kailāsa dan juga bernaung di jajaran Himālaya. Dialah yang menghakis tebing sungai dengan arus yang dahsyat, dan Dialah juga pembentuk tebing—mewujudkan tasik-tasik besar serta takungan. Dia mahir dalam banyak ilmu dan amat pemurah mengurniakan pemberian.”
