Shloka 24

प्रदाता सर्वलोकानां विश्व चाप्युच्यते महत्‌ । ज्येष्ठभूतं वदन्त्येनं ब्राह्यणा ऋषयो5परे,ये सम्पूर्ण लोकोंको उनकी अभीष्ट वस्तु देनेवाले हैं। यह महान्‌ विश्व उन्हींका स्वरूप बताया गया है। ब्राह्मण और ऋषि उन्हें सबसे ज्येष्ठ कहते हैं

pradātā sarvalokānāṁ viśva cāpy ucyate mahat | jyeṣṭhabhūtaṁ vadanty enaṁ brāhmaṇā ṛṣayo 'pare ||

Vāyu bersabda: “Dialah pemberi kurnia bagi segala alam, mengurniakan makhluk apa yang mereka hajatkan. Alam semesta yang luas ini sendiri dinyatakan sebagai perwujudan-Nya. Maka para brāhmaṇa dan para resi yang lain mengisytiharkan Dia sebagai yang tertua—yang purba dan terunggul dalam kalangan segala makhluk.”
