Educational Q&A

That the ultimate ground and giver of all results—whether from Vedic rites or worldly actions, especially desire-driven (kāmya) pursuits—is Śrī Kṛṣṇa (Viṣvaksena). Therefore one should place trust in the supreme source rather than in ritual mechanics alone.

In Anuśāsana Parva, Bhīṣma continues instructing Yudhiṣṭhira on dharma and right orientation of religious life. Here he emphasizes Kṛṣṇa’s supremacy: even scriptural study and ancient ordinances point back to Him as the final basis of all karmic outcomes.
