अजुन उवाच जीवाम्यहं ब्राह्मणार्थ सर्वथा सततं प्रभो | ब्रह्माण्यो ब्राह्मणेभ्यश्ष प्रणणमामि च नित्यश:

Transliteration

arjuna uvāca jīvāmy ahaṃ brāhmaṇārthaṃ sarvathā satataṃ prabho | brahmaṇyo brāhmaṇebhyaś ca praṇamāmi ca nityaśaḥ ||

Translation

Arjuna berkata: Wahai Tuan, dalam segala hal dan pada setiap waktu aku menanggung hidup ini demi para brāhmaṇa. Aku berbakti kepada yang suci dan yang bersifat brahmanik, dan setiap hari aku menunduk memberi hormat kepada para brāhmaṇa.
