Raja itu tetap diam. Lalu Dewa Angin berkata lagi: “Wahai Raja, dengarlah sekarang kisah Utathya, yang lahir dalam keturunan Aṅgiras.”

Educational Q&A

The verse highlights disciplined restraint and receptivity: when a ruler has no fitting reply, silence is preferable, and one should then listen attentively to dharmic instruction delivered through authoritative narration (here, Vāyu introducing the exemplary account of the sage Utathya).

The king offers no response and remains silent; Vāyu resumes speaking and transitions the discourse by inviting the king to hear the story of the sage Utathya, born in the Aṅgirasa lineage, as the next illustrative episode.
