अध्याय १६ — शङ्कर-उमा-वरदानम् तथा तण्डि-स्तुतिः (Śaṅkara–Umā Boon-Granting and Taṇḍi’s Hymn)

यच्चैतत्‌ परमं ब्रह्म यच्च तत्‌ परमं पदम्‌ । या गति: सांख्ययोगानां स भवान्‌ नात्र संशय:,जो यह परम ब्रह्म है, जो वह परमपद है तथा जो सांख्यवेत्ताओं और योगियोंकी गति है, वह आप ही हैं--इसमें संशय नहीं है

yac caitat paramaṃ brahma yac ca tat paramaṃ padam | yā gatiḥ sāṅkhyayogānāṃ sa bhavān nātra saṃśayaḥ ||

Vāyu-deva berkata: “Apa yang disebut Brahman Tertinggi, apa yang disebut kedudukan tertinggi, dan matlamat yang dicapai oleh para pengikut Sāṅkhya dan Yoga—itulah Engkau semata-mata. Tiada keraguan tentang hal ini.”
