Shloka 20

अनिच्छतस्तव विभो जन्ममृत्युरनेकत: । द्वारं तु स्वर्गमोक्षाणामाक्षेप्ता त्वं ददासि च,प्रभो! यदि आप स्वयं ही कृपा करके जीवका उद्धार करना न चाहें तो उसके बारंबार जन्म और मृत्यु होते रहते हैं। आप ही स्वर्ग और मोक्षके द्वार हैं। आप ही उनकी प्राप्तिमें बाधा डालनेवाले हैं तथा आप ही ये दोनों वस्तुएँ प्रदान करते हैं

anicchatas tava vibho janma-mṛtyur anekataḥ | dvāraṁ tu svarga-mokṣāṇām ākṣeptā tvaṁ dadāsi ca, prabho ||

Vāyu berkata: “Wahai Tuhan Yang Maha Berkuasa! Apabila Engkau tidak berkehendak menurunkan rahmat, makhluk akan mengalami kelahiran dan kematian berulang kali dalam pelbagai cara. Engkau sendiri ialah pintu ke syurga dan mokṣa; Engkau boleh menghalang pencapaiannya, dan Engkau sahaja juga yang mengurniakannya, wahai Tuan.”
