Shloka 70

चतुर्णामपि वर्णानामाश्रमस्य विशेषत: । करोति सतत शान्तिं सावित्रीमुत्तमां पठन्‌,जो उत्तम गायत्री-मन्त्रका जप करता है, वह पुरुष चारों वर्णों और विशेषतः चारों आश्रमोंमें सदा शान्ति स्थापन करता है

caturṇām api varṇānām āśramasya viśeṣataḥ | karoti satataṃ śāntiṃ sāvitry-uttamāṃ paṭhan ||

Bhishma berkata: “Dengan terus-menerus melafazkan Sāvitrī yang tertinggi (mantra Gāyatrī), seseorang menegakkan kedamaian yang berkekalan bagi keempat-empat varṇa, dan—terutama sekali—bagi tatanan empat āśrama.”
