Transliteration

ity ete dvādaśādityāḥ kāśyapeyā iti śrutiḥ |

Translation

Bhīṣma berkata: “Demikianlah, inilah dua belas Āditya; śruti (tradisi wahyu) menyatakan bahawa mereka ialah putera-putera Kaśyapa.” Dalam konteks ini, ajaran menempatkan dewa-dewa suria dalam salasilah suci, menegaskan bahawa tertib kosmos ditegakkan melalui keturunan ilahi yang diiktiraf serta wahyu yang berwibawa.
