Shloka 5

तमेव चार्चयन्‌ नित्यं भकक्‍त्या पुरुषमव्ययम्‌ | ध्यायन्‌ स्तुवन्‌ नमस्यंश्व॒ यजमानस्तमेव च,तथा उसी विनाशरहित पुरुषका सब समय भक्तिसे युक्त होकर पूजन करनेसे, उसीका ध्यान करनेसे तथा स्तवन एवं नमस्कार करनेसे पूजा करनेवाला सब दु:खोंसे छूट जाता है

tam eva cārcayan nityaṁ bhaktyā puruṣam avyayam | dhyāyan stuvan namasyaṁś ca yajamānas tam eva ca ||

Bhishma berkata: “Dengan menyembah Pribadi Yang Tidak Binasa itu senantiasa dengan bhakti—merenungkan-Nya, memuji-Nya, dan bersujud kepada-Nya—maka penyembah yang mempersembahkan dirinya dalam khidmat penuh hormat kepada-Nya akan bebas daripada segala dukacita.”
