Educational Q&A

Dharma is expressed through speech: one should speak gently and pleasantly, without causing disturbance or harm, free from sinful intent, and with a welcoming, respectful attitude; such speech is praised as a cause of heavenly merit.

Śrī Maheśvara is instructing about virtuous conduct, specifically the ethics of speech, stating that those who address others with refined, sweet, non-hurtful, and hospitable words attain heaven.
