पर्यड्क इव विश्राजन्नुपविष्टो महामना: । दिव्य धातुओंसे विभूषित पर्यकके समान उस पर्वतशिखरपर बैठे हुए महामना महादेवजी बड़ी शोभा पा रहे थे

paryaṅka iva viśrājann upaviṣṭo mahāmanāḥ | divya-dhātubhir vibhūṣitaḥ paryaṅka-samānaḥ tasmin parvata-śikhare upaviṣṭo mahāmanā mahādevaḥ mahāṃ śobhāṃ prāpa |

Nārada berkata: Di puncak gunung itu, Mahādeva yang berjiwa agung duduk bersemayam dan bersinar cemerlang—bagaikan sebuah pelantar/katil singgahsana yang indah—dihiasi oleh mineral-mineral ilahi.
