ततो मुनिगणा: सर्वे विस्मिता: कृष्णसंनिधौ । नेत्रै: पद्मदलप्रख्यैरपश्यंस्त जनार्दनम्‌,यह सुनकर भगवान्‌ श्रीकृष्णके समीप बैठे हुए सभी ऋषियोंको बड़ा विस्मय हुआ। वे कमलदलके समान खिले हुए नेत्रोंसे उनकी ओर देखने लगे

tato munigaṇāḥ sarve vismitāḥ kṛṣṇasaṃnidhau | netraiḥ padmadalaprakhyair apaśyaṃs taṃ janārdanam ||

Kemudian semua para resi yang berhimpun, duduk di hadapan Kṛṣṇa, dipenuhi rasa takjub. Dengan mata yang mekar laksana kelopak teratai, mereka memandang Janārdana—tanda kehairanan yang penuh hormat terhadap Yang Ilahi yang dekat dan menggetarkan hati.
