वाय्वम्बुभुजो5पि सतो नरस्य दुःखक्षय: कुतस्तस्य । भवति हि सुरासुरगुरौ यस्य न विश्वेश्वरे भक्ति:,“कोई जल या हवा पीकर ही रहनेवाला क्‍यों न हो, जिसकी सुरासुरगुरु भगवान्‌ विश्वनाथमें भक्ति न हो, उसके दु:खोंका नाश कैसे हो सकता है?

vāyv-ambubhujo 'pi sato narasya duḥkha-kṣayaḥ kutaḥ tasya | bhavati hi surāsura-gurau yasya na viśveśvare bhaktiḥ ||

Vāsudeva berkata: “Sekalipun seseorang hidup hanya dengan udara dan air, bagaimana mungkin lenyap dukanya jika dia tidak memiliki bhakti kepada Viśveśvara—Tuhan yang menjadi guru bagi para dewa dan asura?”
