Viṣṇu-sahasranāma—Yudhiṣṭhira’s Inquiry and Bhīṣma’s Recitation (विष्णोर्नामसहस्रम्)
That those who have attained the righteous goal (through dharma) experience a condition free from adversity: no suffering and no painful impediments—symbolized by “thorns.”
Yama is describing the state or realm enjoyed by certain persons (implicitly the virtuous), emphasizing its complete absence of distress and obstacles.
