Yudhiṣṭhira uvāca—janma mānuṣyakaṁ prāpya karmakṣetraṁ sudurlabham | śreyorthinā daridreṇa kiṁ kartavyaṁ pitāmaha ||

Yudhiṣṭhira berkata: “Wahai Datuk, setelah memperoleh kelahiran sebagai manusia—medan amal yang amat sukar diperoleh—apakah yang harus dilakukan oleh seorang miskin yang mencari kebaikan tertinggi?”
