Adhyāya 122 — Śruta-vṛtta-yukta Brāhmaṇa and the Ethics of Dāna
Maitreya–Vyāsa Saṃvāda
प्रसादात् सत्यसंधस्य भवतोडमिततेजस: । यदहं कीटतां प्राप्य सम्प्राप्तो राजपुत्रताम्,आप सत्यप्रतिज्ञ हैं, अमित तेजस्वी हैं, आपके प्रसादसे ही आज मैं कीड़ेसे राजपूत हो गया हूँ
prasādāt satyasaṃdhasya bhavato 'mitatejasaḥ | yad ahaṃ kīṭatāṃ prāpya samprāpto rājaputratām ||
Serangga itu berkata: “Dengan rahmatmu—engkau yang teguh pada kebenaran dan bercahaya dengan keagungan yang tiada terhingga—aku yang pernah jatuh ke keadaan sekadar ulat, kini telah mencapai martabat seorang putera raja.”
