Bhaṅgāśvanopākhyāna — On comparative affection in strī–puruṣa union (भङ्गाश्वनोपाख्यानम्)

सरो<पश्यत्‌ सुरुचिरं पूर्ण परमवारिणा । सो<5वगाहा सरस्तात पाययामास वाजिनम्‌,तात! घूमते-घूमते उन्होंने उत्तम जलसे भरा हुआ एक सुन्दर सरोवर देखा। उन्होंने घोड़ेको उस सरोवरमें स्नान कराकर पानी पिलाया

saro 'paśyat suruciraṃ pūrṇaṃ paramavāriṇā | so 'vagāhya saras tāta pāyayāmāsa vājinam ||

Bhīṣma berkata: “Dia melihat sebuah tasik yang amat indah, penuh dengan air yang terbaik. Setelah turun ke dalam tasik itu, wahai anakku, dia memandikan kuda di sana lalu memberinya minum.”
