Bhaṅgāśvanopākhyāna — On comparative affection in strī–puruṣa union (भङ्गाश्वनोपाख्यानम्)

भीष्म उवाच एवमुक्तस्ततस्त्विन्द्र: प्रीतो वाक्यमुवाच ह । सर्व एवेह जीवन्तु पुत्रास्ते सत्यवादिनि,भीष्मजी कहते हैं--राजन्‌! तापसीके यों कहनेपर इन्द्र बड़े प्रसन्न हुए और इस प्रकार बोले--'सत्यवादिनि! तुम्हारे सभी पुत्र जीवित हो जायेँ

bhīṣma uvāca evam uktas tatas tv indraḥ prīto vākyam uvāca ha | sarva eveha jīvantu putrās te satyavādini ||

Bhishma berkata: Setelah dia berkata demikian, Indra amat berkenan lalu menjawab: “Wahai wanita yang berkata benar, semoga semua anakmu di sini hidup kembali.”
