मानसतीर्थ-शौचप्रशंसा | Praise of the ‘Mental Tīrtha’ and the Marks of Purity
त्रयोदशे तु दिवसे प्राप्ते यः प्राशते हवि: । सदा द्वादशमासान् वै देवसत्रफलं लभेत्
trayodaśe tu divase prāpte yaḥ prāśate haviḥ | sadā dvādaśamāsān vai devasatraphalaṃ labhet ||
Bhīṣma menerangkan: “Jika pada hari ketiga belas, apabila waktu yang ditetapkan telah tiba, seseorang memakan havi (bahagian persembahan korban), maka sepanjang dua belas bulan dia sentiasa memperoleh pahala yang setara dengan Deva-satra—upacara panjang yang dilakukan untuk para dewa.”
