मानसतीर्थ-शौचप्रशंसा | Praise of the ‘Mental Tīrtha’ and the Marks of Purity
लोम्नां प्रमाणेन सम॑ ब्रह्मलोके महीयते । वह मनुष्य दो पताका (महापद्मा), अठारह पद्मा, एक हजार तीन सौ करोड़ और पचास अयुत वर्षोतक तथा सौ रीछोंके चमड़ोंमें जितने रोएँ होते हैं, उतने वर्षोतक ब्रह्मलोकमें सम्मानित होता है
lomnāṁ pramāṇena samaṁ brahmaloke mahīyate |
Bhishma bersabda: Seseorang dimuliakan di Brahmaloka untuk suatu tempoh yang diukur menurut bilangan rambut (lomāni)—yakni selama bilangan tahun sebanyak rambut pada himpunan kulit yang disebutkan—menandakan ganjaran yang amat panjang, lahir daripada jasa kebajikan, di alam syurga tertinggi.
