Anuśāsana-parva 108
(य इमं शृणुयान्नित्यं यश्चापि परिकीर्तयेत् स शुभानू प्राप्तुते लोकान् सदाचारव्रतान्नूप ।।
ya imaṁ śṛṇuyān nityaṁ yaś cāpi parikīrtayet | sa śubhān prāpnute lokān sadācāra-vratān nṛpa ||
Bhishma berkata: “Wahai raja, sesiapa yang mendengar kisah ini setiap hari, dan sesiapa yang turut melafazkannya dengan lantang, akan mencapai alam-alam yang baik berkat kekuatan nazar yang berasaskan tata susila dan kelakuan mulia.”
