नहुषोपाख्यानम्—दीपदान-धूप-बलीकर्म-प्रशंसा

Nahūṣa Episode and the Commendation of Lamp-Gifting and Household Offerings

सर्वे तस्य समुत्पन्ना देवेन्द्रस्य महात्मन: । देवलोके नृलोके च सदाचारा बुधै: स्मृता:

sarve tasya samutpannā devendrasya mahātmanaḥ | devaloke nṛloke ca sadācārā budhaiḥ smṛtāḥ ||

Bhīṣma berkata: “Segala yang lahir daripada Indra yang berhati agung itu diingati oleh orang bijaksana sebagai teladan tata susila—baik di alam para dewa mahupun di kalangan manusia.”
