Educational Q&A

The verse highlights a dharmic principle: when power becomes arrogant and violates propriety, it results in downfall; sages act as guardians of moral and cosmic order, and accountability is maintained by reporting to higher authority (Brahmā).

Bhṛgu throws Nahuṣa down to the earth and then goes to Brahmā’s abode to inform Brahmā of what has occurred, advancing the episode toward judgment and restoration of order.
