पाण्डवानां पाञ्चालगमनम्

अवाकीर्यत संरब्धैर्विश्वामित्रस्य पश्यत: । एकैकश्न तदा योध: पञ्चभि: सप्तभिव्वृत:
avākīryata saṃrabdhair viśvāmitrasya paśyataḥ | ekaikaśas tadā yodhaḥ pañcabhiḥ saptabhir vṛtaḥ ||
Di hadapan mata Viśvāmitra sendiri, bala tenteranya menjadi kacau-bilau lalu berselerak akibat serangan para pahlawan yang menyala amarah. Pada ketika itu setiap askarnya dikepung—seorang oleh lima, seorang lagi oleh tujuh—hingga pasukan lawan menenggelamkan mereka dengan kelebihan bilangan dan kemarahan yang membuak.
