विष्णुचक्रलाभो नाम (अर्धनारीश्वर-तत्त्वं, सती-पार्वती-सम्भवः, दक्षयज्ञविनाशः)
अनादृत्य कृतिं ज्ञात्वा सती दक्षेण तत्क्षणात् भस्मीकृत्वात्मनो देहं योगमार्गेण सा पुनः
anādṛtya kṛtiṃ jñātvā satī dakṣeṇa tatkṣaṇāt bhasmīkṛtvātmano dehaṃ yogamārgeṇa sā punaḥ
Mengetahui serta-merta bahawa Dakṣa bertindak dengan penghinaan, Satī—tanpa menerima aib itu—melalui jalan Yoga membakar tubuhnya sendiri menjadi abu dengan api Yoga, lalu kembali lagi dengan kuasa Yoga. Dalam pemahaman Śaiva, ini menzahirkan Śakti Tuhan yang melampaui pāśa (ikatan), melepaskan bentuk yang telah menjadi medan penghinaan terhadap Pati (Śiva).
